De-stemming after harvesting; vinification by type of vine under controlled temperatures; long maceration for 30 to 35 days. Assemblage after malo-lactic fermentation; maturing and refining in vats and barrels. Bottled 18 months after harvesting.
Beautiful intense dark red color with "fuchsia" highlights. Concentrated nose with red fruit, liquorice, honey and pepper notes, and a menthol finish.
In the mouth: a strong attack, with the red fruit notes found in the bouquet. Good balance between nose and mouth. Fine volume in the middle of the mouth and pleasing fullness, with evident tannin. Vanilla notes in the finish.
Keeping time: 8 to 10 years
Goes well with: red and white meats, game.
